Green Organisation Morocco organized an enriching day filled with activities aimed at promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
The day began with a warm welcome for our new members and participants. A shared breakfast set the tone for a day of collaboration and learning in the beautiful setting of Boujibar Forest.
The activities kicked off with a recycling initiative, where participants transformed plastic water bottles into pots for planting. This hands-on activity highlighted the importance of repurposing waste to reduce environmental impact.
Next, we planted green beans as a first planting experiment, focusing on nurturing the plants and observing their growth over time. This initiative serves as an introduction to sustainable agriculture for participants.
Our group also contributed to maintaining the cleanliness of the forest by engaging in cleanup efforts, ensuring a healthier space for all.
The highlight of the day was a composting workshop, where participants learned about the steps of composting, its benefits, and how it supports sustainable farming practices.
This day in Boujibar Forest was not only a learning experience but also a step toward fostering a deeper connection with nature and building a sustainable future.
