Today, members of Green Organisation Morocco, along with their participants, launched a new series of activities focused on environmental protection. The first step of this project took place at Calabonita Beach, one of the most iconic beaches in Al Hoceima. This summer, the beach welcomed many visitors, but unfortunately, many did not respect the cleanliness of this beautiful location.

In response, Green Organisation Morocco took the initiative to organize a thorough cleanup operation. Participants collected a significant amount of waste, particularly plastic, which had accumulated along the shore. By removing these waste materials, we not only restored the natural beauty of the beach but also raised awareness among young people and the community about the importance of protecting these spaces.

This action is part of a series of ecological initiatives we will be organizing in the coming weeks. Our goal is not only to clean but also to highlight the importance of environmental respect and waste management to protect our beaches and ecosystems.

The adventure begins! Our trinational youth exchange between Green Organisation Morocco, Wabrzezno (Poland), and Syke (Germany) officially started on October 1, 2024, and will run until October 12, 2024. This exchange brings together 12 students and 2 supervisors from Al Hoceima, Morocco, 12 students and 2 supervisors from Wabrzezno, Poland, and 12 students and 3 supervisors from Syke, Germany.

The participants arrived in Al Hoceima yesterday at 8:00 PM, eager to dive into a program filled with cultural exchange, educational workshops, and outdoor activities in the stunning landscapes of Al Hoceima. This initiative is not only a great opportunity for participants to learn from each other, but also a chance to forge lasting friendships and deepen the ties between our three countries.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Catruat Abdelhafid, a native of Al Hoceima and currently working at the town hall of Syke, Germany. Green Organisation Morocco is honored to participate in the Youth and Environment project, which took place from August 25th to 31st, 2024. This enriching experience was part of an international initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among young people. The first three days of the visit were spent in the charming town of Syke, where participants engaged in a series of workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities related to environmental conservation. We were able to learn from local experts about best practices in sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly living.

Following our stay in Syke, we traveled to Hannover, where the focus shifted to urban environmental projects and green innovations. During the visit, we had the opportunity to explore schools and specialized centers dedicated to environmental and agricultural practices, gaining insights into how Germany integrates these concepts into both urban and rural settings. We also exchanged ideas with educators and students, discussing the importance of environmental stewardship and ways to inspire future generations to take action.
