Green Organisation Morocco’s Beach Cleanup Picnic at ISRI Beach

Today 02-11-2024 ,members of Green Organisation Morocco and participants from the October exchange program gathered for a meaningful and eco-friendly picnic at ISRI Beach. This wasn’t just any picnic – it was part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and raising awareness about the importance of clean beaches.

Our team spent the day collecting waste, particularly plastic and other pollutants left behind by visitors. Every participant, from members to exchange students, took part in this effort to restore ISRI Beach to its natural beauty. Equipped with gloves, bags, and a shared dedication, we scoured the shoreline, making sure no litter was left behind. This cleanup wasn’t only about removing visible waste but also about fostering a sense of responsibility and respect for our environment.

Throughout the day, we engaged in discussions about the impact of pollution on marine life and the critical role each of us plays in reducing waste. This event is just one part of a larger mission, where we aim to create more sustainable habits and inspire the community to take action.

We thank everyone who contributed their time and energy to this initiative. With efforts like these, we’re reminded that protecting our planet starts at the community level, and together, we’re making a real difference.
