Under the patronage of the Municipality of Ajdir Al Hoceima in Morocco, in collaboration with the Municipality of Syke in Germany and the Municipality of Wąbrzeźno in Poland, and with the support of the Regional Directorate for Education, Primary Education, and Sports in Al Hoceima, the Lions Club Organization, Green Organisation Morocco, the European Union, Lions Charity Run, Sparkasse Syke, Bingo Environmental Foundation of Lower Saxony, PSD Bank, and the Rotary Club Syke, we are pleased to announce the successful realization of the Environmentally Friendly Library project.
A New Model for Sustainable Libraries
This innovative project introduces a sustainable and ecological library, equipped with a solar energy system that powers lighting and allows for charging mobile phones and computers. This setup actively promotes the concept of sustainability and environmental protection while providing a valuable educational resource for students and the community.
Beyond a Library: A Space for Cultural Exchange
The Environmentally Friendly Library is more than just a place for reading—it serves as a center for sustainability education and a hub for cultural exchange. It provides teaching materials focused on environmental awareness and acts as an interactive space where students can learn about ecological responsibility and share knowledge through international partnerships.
A Collaborative International Effort
Supported by local educational institutions, this initiative fosters cross-cultural learning and builds knowledge bridges between different communities. It represents a step towards deepening cultural understanding and paves the way for a more sustainable and ecologically rich future.
