From 28 August to 06 September 2025, Green Organisation Morocco (GOMO) proudly took part in an unforgettable trinational youth exchange hosted in the city of Wąbrzeźno, Poland. Bringing together young people and youth workers from Morocco, Germany (Syke/Bremen), and Poland (Wąbrzeźno), the exchange combined creativity, cultural discovery, and environmental action under one spirit: learning by doing, sharing by living.
Three Days of Workshops and Action
During the first part of the program, participants engaged in a dynamic set of workshops and activities:
🎭 Puppet Theatre – creating and performing interactive plays to address social and environmental themes.
📲 Social Media Training – learning how to communicate, raise awareness, and mobilize peers online.
🤝 Public Actions – going into the community to share messages of sustainability and solidarity.
These workshops were not only about learning skills, but also about being active citizens and turning knowledge into action.
Cultural Days – Celebrating Diversity
The exchange also featured vibrant cultural days, where each delegation presented their traditions through music, food, dance, and storytelling. These days highlighted the richness of diversity and the power of intercultural dialogue, strengthening the bonds of friendship between Morocco, Poland, and Germany.
Sports and Team Spirit
On the last day, participants joined a 10km marathon in Wąbrzeźno. This moment symbolized endurance, resilience, and teamwork. A special congratulations goes to Anas Machtro, who achieved an impressive 7th place out of 400 runners – a proud moment for GOMO and the Moroccan team.
Looking Ahead – Next Stop: France
This exchange was not an ending but a new beginning. Green Organisation Morocco and its partners are already preparing the next youth exchange in France, scheduled for 22 June to 1 July 2026. More workshops, more cultural sharing, and more environmental action are waiting ahead.
