On the occasion of World Cleanup Day 2026, Green Organisation Morocco (GOMO) joined local partners in Al Hoceima for a practical environmental action dedicated to cleaner public spaces, community responsibility and sustainable habits.

Acting Together for a Cleaner Environment
The initiative brought people together around a simple but important objective: taking direct action to protect the environment. Cleanup activities are more than a one-day gesture. They help raise awareness about litter, pollution and the impact of our everyday behaviour on the places where we live, work and travel.

Responsible Tourism Means Caring for the Place We Visit
This activity also highlighted an important message about responsible tourism. Sustainability is not only about choosing environmentally friendly services; it is also about respecting nature, keeping shared spaces clean, protecting local ecosystems and showing consideration for the culture and community of the destination.
Collaboration and Community Engagement
Green Organisation Morocco was proud to contribute to this World Cleanup Day action alongside partners and community members. We warmly thank everyone involved in the collaboration, including Nadir Sinaceur, for helping turn environmental awareness into concrete action on the ground.
Initiatives like this reflect GOMO’s commitment to environmental education, civic participation and practical solutions that encourage people to take responsibility for the spaces around them.

Every Action Counts
World Cleanup Day reminds us that protecting the planet begins locally. A cleaner street, beach, forest or public space can inspire wider change when citizens, associations and partners work together.
